THOSE FOR WHOM HUMBLE WALK ENCOURAGES SUPPORT
Humble Walk is not affiliated with any organization, but does passionately desire a well-woven connectedness with the its community. If there is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that you think Humble Walkers would be interested in supporting, let us know. Generally speaking, the organization needs to meet fundamental human needs: food, clothing, shelter, safety. Organizations that can be found in Berrien County are best ... but we include those that touch others in our world.
The organizations listed below are key ones that Brett and Donna support financially with 100% of the financial gifts given to them from memorial services and with additional monies of their own.
(Note: We charge nothing for any of our services. Any money we receive was given to us out of generosity, only. It is our belief that as long at the Lord financially blesses us to do His work via our secular jobs, we will not accept money for our own benefit in our ministry work.)

Hospice www.hospicenet.org
Hospice is a concept of caring derived from medieval times, symbolizing a place where travelers, pilgrims and the sick, wounded or dying could find rest and comfort. The contemporary hospice offers a comprehensive program of care to patients and families facing a life threatening illness. Hospice is primarily a concept of care, not a specific place of care.
Hospice emphasizes palliative rather than curative treatment; quality rather than quantity of life.
