BE EXALTED, O GOD

Message [Brett]: All of the readings we’ve shared today predate Christ’s dying and rising, as well as God’s gift of the Holy Spirit. Whereas the believers in these stories had to proceed without knowing how God would respond to them, we have the blessed knowledge contained in and conveyed by the New Testament. We know that our God is FOR us (Rom 8:31). We know that Christ has redeemed us and that we can stand before God with confidence, in order to receive mercy and grace, in every need (Heb 4:16).
