Message [Brett]: Most of us grew up with the understanding that hard work is right and good - and that it should be and will be rewarded. At the same time, we’ve heard many people (including Paul, in 1 Cor 13) insist that relationships are of greater value than accomplishments. Christ’s dying and rising are not so much a “proof” of God’s power as they are an expression of God’s commitment to let nothing stand in the way of right relationships, which ARE His kingdom. May we be diligent - in seeking and welcoming God’s grace!
