Message [Brett]: Preparing a path for our God means behaving in such a way that those around us might be open to God’s will, God’s word, God’s ways. We are called to be humble in this work, because God is indescribably greater than we are. We are also called to be confident, because God has chosen to draw near to us, to redeem us, to work and speak through us. God is faithful in giving us work to do and in giving us the credentials (the reasons that others would trust us - “credo” means “I believe”) we need in order to accomplish that work.
